Past Residential Projects
Gulfport Residence - Dining Room Decor
Notes from the designer I love symmetry. In this home, I was able to install candle sconces on either side of the dining table to give the wall a perfect accent. The vintage Drexel Heritage buffet table was purchased by the client in a North Carolina flea market with the five chairs. Since the buffet table table was too large for the space, we pushed it up to the wall and placed the other to chairs against the wall until needed. We used Vera Bradley place mats and a trivet for the center. The idea was for the style to be practical, maintainable, and classic. |
Drapery Specifications Projects
Southern Mississippi Area - Window Treatment Consultation
Notes from the designer My client wanted draperies that would accent the windows and finish the look of her home. She had a beautifully decorated home, so we simply had to find fabric that matched the colors in her rooms. Using fabric swatches, we found just the right fabrics for her window treatments. She loved them and they looked wonderful! |
Southern Mississippi Area - Window Treatment Consultation
Notes from the designer
I was able to visit with a family on the coast who wanted woven shades for their home. It overlooked their back patio so they wanted to assure privacy and have a custom look. We chose a wood sample that matched their existing wood and decor so that it would be seamless. They loved the way it looked and enjoyed having the window professionally covered. |
Southern Mississippi Area - Window Treatment Consultation
Notes from the designer
In the South, it is such a great thing to have light, but to have it filtered. I visited with a lady who desperately wanted her large window covered without blinds, but with a lighter look. We found out that Silhouettes were exactly the choice for her window. She loved the soft lighting and the ease of opening and closing the shades. |
Law Office Consultation - Roof Law Office, Virginia Beach
Notes from the designer
I was able to help Mr. Timothy Roof to redesign his law office. We met and discussed his ideas for his office. After this I was able to provide him with ideas and options for his space. He took those ideas and turned his office into a much more workable and professional space. I have since consulted him on the final details, which are coming together well. |
The main purpose of this project was updating the existing design for the office. First, we were able to change the layout of the office to create a new feel and to better use the space available. After this, paint colors were chosen to refresh the look of the walls. Also, I advised that the diplomas be reframed to keep them in the best condition, and advised some new artwork choices to bring the office together. A few new pieces of furniture were added, but mainly we wanted to keep the budget as low as possible while creating as much positive change as possible.
